The Scholarship Project

Our Scholarship Program provides girls and boys in Haiti with access to quality education and the support they need to succeed. Through financial assistance, mentorship, and community engagement, we help students stay in school, grow in confidence, and build brighter futures. As part of the program, children also participate in planting and nurturing trees, giving back to their communities while developing environmental awareness and a strong sense of stewardship.

The Christmas Event

The Christmas Event is an annual community celebration organized by Womenful Voice in Haiti to foster unity, joy, and empowerment among children and families within the community.

This event aims to provide a holistic experience that blends celebration with empowerment. Event activities include recreational games, performances, gifts, inspirational storytelling, carols, and a communal meal. The event will not only spread the joy of the season but also reinforce Womenful Voice’s mission of education, empowerment, and sustainability.

The Communal Garden

The Communal Garden Project in Ouanaminthe is a transformative initiative that addresses critical issues of food insecurity, malnutrition, and environmental degradation in the region. This project aims to create a sustainable, productive, and replicable model for backyard gardening by integrating agroecological principles, particularly agroforestry and syntropic farming techniques. The garden will serve as a hub for education, community empowerment, and environmental stewardship while providing a reliable source of fresh, nutrient-rich produce for the local community.

Menstruation is Power

Menstruation should never be a barrier to education or opportunity. Our Menstruation is Power program works to end period poverty in Haiti by empowering women and girls with the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to manage their menstrual health safely and sustainably.

Through workshops on menstrual education, body autonomy, and hygiene, we dispel myths, promote open conversations, and help participants understand their bodies with confidence.

The program also distributes sustainable and reusable menstrual products, reducing waste while supporting girls to stay in school, even during their menstrual cycle. By combining education, empowerment, and sustainability, we’re creating a movement where menstruation becomes a source of pride, not shame.

Join us in breaking taboos and building a future of dignity and equality for all women and girls.

The Reforestation Project

Along the banks of the Massacre River in Ouanaminthe, Haiti, environmental degradation has threatened water flow, soil stability, biodiversity, and community well-being. Deforestation, erosion, and waste accumulation have weakened this vital ecosystem, increasing vulnerability to climate change and environmental instability.
The Womenful Voice Reforestation Program was created to restore this landscape and strengthen long-term climate resilience through community-led environmental action. This initiative goes beyond tree planting. It focuses on regenerating land, protecting water sources, and empowering communities through sustainable environmental leadership.
